Job Title: Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and solution-driven Civil Engineer with 2+ years of UAE site experience to oversee daily site operations, manage construction workflows, and ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with engineering specifications.

In this role, you will coordinate directly with project managers, site foremen, subcontractors, and consultants to translate structural/civil drawings into high-quality execution on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Supervise day-to-day civil works on-site, ensuring execution strictly complies with approved IFC drawings, methodology statements, and safety standards.
• Progress Tracking & Daily Logs: Monitor daily site progress, manage labor and equipment allocation, and submit accurate daily/weekly progress reports to management.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain project schedules, material delivery, and quality standards.
• Technical Support & Request for Information (RFI): Review technical drawings, resolve constructability issues on-site, and prepare RFIs for consultants/designers as needed.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce site safety protocols (HSE) and collaborate with QA/QC inspectors to ensure material tests, inspections, and handovers are completed seamlessly.
• Measurement & Quantity Verification: Assist in verifying completed quantities on-site for interim monthly payment applications and subcontractor bills.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years  of site-based Civil Engineering experience in the UAE (Construction, Infrastructure, Fit-out, or Landscaping background preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Equivalency or DM/Society of Engineers membership is a plus).
• Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Ras Al Khor 3, Dubai.
• Software & Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and MS Project or Primavera for basic scheduling.
• Core Competencies: Strong site execution skills, structural/civil drawing reading, team leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Language & Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an added advantage).
